Ode to May’s Deal

Time to Drain the Swamp

Our shameful government have once again humiliated themselves and the whole country. Farcical scene after farcical scene has ensued over the past few weeks leaving us a few days from Brexit with a spineless leader and pointless opposition.

This #BrexitBetrayal, cooked up between May and Merkel, will chain us to the EU with no freedom and no prospect of escape. It threatens the peace in Northern Ireland thanks to a totally confected non-issue regarding the borders and will leave us worse off than ever.

We’re leaving on the 29th of March

May’s famous (hopefully last) words that she has said more than 100 times in Parliament are now shown to be a lie.

A “No Deal” is better than a Bad Deal

Stated more than 50 times in Parliament – again, utter bollocks.

Then we see a petition being raised to revoke Article 50 altogether and cancel Brexit – so all those charlatans and anti-democrats that have spent the past 1000+ days saying they wanted a better ‘deal’ or a ‘soft Brexit’ or even a ‘People’s Vote’ now show themselves up for what they really wanted all along – traitors.

So here is my tribute to “Treason” May;

Ode to May’s Deal

People ‘cross the country North, South, East and West reject it
How many voted LibLabCon now totally regrets it?
That most MPs still want Remain’s a massive disconnect it’s
Not only time to drain the swamp but fully disinfect it

They said that voting leave was just a dearth of intellect it
Suggests we lacked the power in our cerebral cortex it’s
Too difficult to extricate ourselves, far too complex it
Will kill your pension and stock market and FTSE index it

Means shares will plummet, punishment budget, shortage of Kleenex it
Brings pestilence and death then you’re sucked into a vortex it’s
Due to traitors in the House of Lords, and cabinet it’s
Support from Campbell, Blair and EU cronies that abets it

Lineker and Geldof and those other C-list muppets
Who show themselves to be no more than Guy Verhofstadt’s puppets
Elites slag off the working class, they are quite apoplectic
They think the Russians or a bus sign really did affect it
Those Southern shires with gleaming spires and cosy little hamlets
Forget the nine mill’ spent on Cameron’s propaganda pamphlet

An Irish back stop argument that’s totally confected
A Remainer’s ruse they never used before, to misdirect it
I think you’ll find no change of mind, of that there’s no prospect it
Will be your final act if you decide to just neglect it
We’ll protest ‘til our voice is heard by those who are elected
Try to betray our wishes and you’ll find you’re deselected

If this goes on much longer we will don our yellow vests it’s
Time for direct action, go-slows, road blocks and the rest it’s
Vital that you know we will make sure no-one forgets it
Until you honour all our votes in full and give us Brexit.

People ‘cross the country North, South, East and West reject it
How many voted LibLabCon now totally regrets it?
That most MPs still want Remain’s a massive disconnect it’s
Not only time to drain the swamp but fully disinfect it
